Paused Automations Now Cancel Queued Notifications
Automations
Pausing or hibernating an automation now immediately cancels all queued notifications, preventing unwanted messages from being sent.
What's New?
When an automation is paused or hibernated, any notifications that were already queued but not yet delivered will now be automatically canceled. Previously, pausing an automation did not stop in-flight notifications from being sent—they would continue to deliver even after the automation was stopped.
Why Does It Matter?
Recruiters and staffing operations teams rely on automations to send timely, relevant communications to candidates and contacts. When an automation is intentionally paused—whether to make edits, resolve an issue, or halt an outreach campaign—users expect all activity to stop immediately. This fix provides several key benefits:
-
Prevents confusion for recipients by ensuring no unexpected notifications are delivered after pausing
-
Reduces unnecessary inbox noise for the team
-
Maintains trust in the accuracy of outreach campaigns
-
Ensures that pausing an automation means a clean, immediate stop to all pending communication
